Two historical events occurred on that memorable day: (1) Pastor Marie Kelly was installed as the first woman Senior Pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church.   (2) Pastor Marie Kelly was also acknowledged as the first Senior Pastor to lead a congregation of one of the major Baptist Churches located in the Hill District.
